Apple is changing its data policy to protect the privacy of its consumers. In an environment where tech companies, like Apple, have the availability of such copious amounts of data, when does it become harmful for the average consumer? With Apple acting as the first mover to protect consumer data, we may see many other companies, like Google and Facebook, follow suit.
